Welcome to the Blog Fair!
Just like the Village Fair or Craft Fair is a place to exhibit your (hopefully) prize-winning roses, garden produce or patchwork quilt; the Blog Fair is a place to exhibit your blog posts and view other posts.
Unfortunately, I can’t promise any carnival rides or prizes, but I will choose a post each week to feature in the next week’s Blog Fair, and have also created a Pinterest Board here where I will pin all the posts linked.
The Blog Fair Link Party runs each week, starting at 7am Monday morning, New Zealand time – so this will still be Sunday for most of the world. However, the party will be open until Thursday so you have plenty of time to post and check out the other blogs. View the current Blog Fair here.
This party is open to bloggers from all over the world – though I can only read English :). I frequently participate in blogs from Australia, Britain, Canada and the US.
So here are the rules…
- Any family or house-keeping focussed posts (parenting, lifestyle, organisation, cleaning tips, recipes, gardening etc.) are welcome.
You may link up to three posts each week – new or old.
Please add the Blog Fair button to your post.
Visit at least three other posts and leave comments, like or pin. You may also choose to follow them on facebook or pinterest, if you are not already. So you may just want to comment ‘thanks for sharing, I’m now following you.’ Please add the hashtag #BlogFair to your comment.
To participate in the Blog Fair please follow me on Facebook and Twitter, where I will be posting reminders for the party each week, and also sharing some of the posts that have been linked. You can also follow me on instagram, pinterest, bloglovin and google+ .
For some more great advice about participating in a link party I suggest checking out Essentially Jess’s page about her link party IBOT (I blog on Tuesdays). I particularly like her tip about opening a few links at a time, then you don’t lose your place on the party page.
Please spread the word about the Blog Fair so others can join in – the more the merrier!!
