Welcome to my list of resources. Scroll down to find resources I use for home-making, planning, cooking and blogging.

I bought the Shark Rotator Pro Vacuum Cleaner a few years ago and love it. It comes with a number of handy attachments too.
A cleaning caddy is great for carrying your cleaning equipment and clothes. You can see the basket I use here, but I’m thinking about getting this caddy. The separate compartments will be great for keeping the used cloths away from the clean ones.
I love using micro-fibre cloths! I colour code them for different rooms and purposes.
Many of my cleaning products are home-made. (See my posts on cleaning the bathroom using vinegar, lavendar and lemon essential oil, and cleaning the kitchen sink, dish-washer and microwave using vinegar and baking soda). I also use Tea Tree and Orange essential oil in my kitchen cleaner. Eucalyptus, tea tree and lemongrass are also great for keeping the head-lice away! Add a few drops to your shampoo and then a few drops to your child’s hair before tying up for school.
Planning and Organising
I’ve found the following books really helpful with improving my time management and project planning: Get Things Done by David Allen and Eat That Frog! by Brian Tracy. You can also find lots more information at the Get Things Done website gtdconnect.com
I’ve just started to use Asana to track my tasks and projects. The online tool is designed for teams, but I find it works well for individuals too.
I also use a Bullet Journal to keep notes on my days, weeks, months and the year. I use this Moleskine large dotted notebook, which works really well. The above link is for Fishpond in NZ, but it can also be purchased from Amazon US. Read my post on How to Start a Bullet Journal.
I use my Kenwood Multi-Pro Food processor with blender and multi mill nearly every day. It’s so easy to switch the top to make smoothies, pesto or my most popular recipe, Zucchini quiche, which is all done in the food processor.
I’m back with sistema for my pantry and fridge storage. This pack has a few different sizes, but I also have others from the range for my pasta and fruit as well as baking ingredients. There lunch boxes are pretty good too!
Blogging Tool Kit
Here is a list of resources I use to help run the blog.
I use BlueHost to host my domain. I’ve found them to be very helpful, particularly when I switched from wordpress.com to wordpress.org when I made a few mistakes. They were able to talk me through things step by step to get me set up properly.
I’ve also found wordpress.org really easy to use, with lots of great themes and plugins.
I’ve recently purchased the Restored 316 Themes Market theme and will have it set up and ready to reveal to you soon!
Any blog needs a good system to manage the email list. ConvertKit is great for collecting subscribers directly from the website, classifying the subscribers with tags and sending emails out.
I use the website PicMonkey to edit all my photos, add my logo and headers. I’ve found picmonkey really easy to use. There is a free version and a paid login which allows you to save your images and come back to edit them later.
Since I started using Boardbooster to schedule pins to pinterest my followers and engagement has increased dramatically. Boardbooster easily allows you to spread out your pinning, pin to multiple boards and group boards at once, and loop re-pins of boards.
Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money from your blog. Share a Sale is an affiliate marketing platform where you can find and join a number of affiliate programs.
If you are thinking of starting a blog, or even if you have already started one, I recommend Building a Framework. This book, with accompanying videos, talks you through all the important things you need to do for your blog and include on your blog.
Well, that’s it for now. But I’m sure I will add more to this list as time goes by. If you have any resources you would like to recommend then please comment.
